ABSTRACT: Wireless Sensor Networks is a technology with a large potential. Using a Wireless Sensor Network it is possible to monitor and control many variables involved in any business process. To develop and deploy Wireless Sensor Networks companies must face many technological challenges that avoids the wide adoption of this technology, in addition, data coming from the Wireless Sensor Network needs to be integrated with Business Information Systems in and easy and reliable way.

SPEAKER: Xavier Ordu帽a is in charge of managing the technical strategy. Has more than 4 years experience in the ITC sector and excelent business training by ESADE (2005), EAE (2006), EOI (2007) and Instituto de Empresa (2007). Before founding Dexma Sensors worked for Open Wired and the UPC (Technical University of Catalonia).
Xavier is a Computer Science Engineer by the FIB-UPC, specialized in networks and operative systems. Performed his thesis at FH of N眉remberg (Germany) named: "trust and non-traceability in mobile adhoc networks". Speaks english, french and german.

El Centre Tecnol貌gic de Catalunya (CTTC) inici贸 su andadura en junio del 2001, siendo uno de los centros de investigaci贸n impulsados por la Generalitat de Catalunya como consecuencia de la voluntad del gobierno catal谩n de potenciar las actividades de investigaci贸n y desarrollo en Catalu帽a.
