1. Software as a Service  (SaaS) and user experience

DEXCell Energy Manager software is intuitive, fully web based and accessible in real time from anywhere in the world, overcoming the typical problems of accessibility, distribution, maintenance and incompatibility according to traditional software operating systems.

Design is an important part to promote the use of the tool among technical and non-technical users to commit to energy consumption and changes in environmental parameters of their buildings.

Thanks to the configuration of different user profiles, DEXCell is the right tool for a user without much technical knowledge to a specialized user or energy manager.

2. Hardware compatibilty

DEXCell is a platform with the ability to connect multiple devices off different manufacturers, using communication standards such as Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, Zigbee and others.

3. Wireless Technology

Wireless technology can be incorporated into one or all levels DEXCell platform, incorporating wireless sensors or actuators that work with 802.15.4/Zigbee/6lowpan technology or using GPRS/3G at DEXGate hub level. Working without wires allows us greater flexibility and speed of installation in buildings and facilities, along with lower costs of maintenance.

Current wireless technology allows the probes operate for long periods of time with common batteries, and the possibility of use smart devices that repeat the information between them, to increase coverage.

4. Integration with third-party systems

The ability to offer Webservices server level, allows you to export and integrate information in DEXCell with any SCADA, BMS, ERP or database.

5. Security

DEXCell incorporates different security systems to ensure information travels safely between each remote location and the online server. Gateways communicate with the server using VPNs, secure tunnels that encrypt the information.
